Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Freedom Factory Team, LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Freedom Factory (the "Service") at freedom-factory.app.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, password (hashed), and billing details processed by our payment processor.
Content you create
Ad copy, captions, hooks, brand briefs, scheduled posts, generated images, and other content you create or upload to the Service.
Connected accounts
If you connect a Facebook Page or other platform, we receive an access token and basic Page information (name, ID) so we can publish on your behalf. We do not request access to your personal Facebook profile beyond what is required to list the Pages you manage.
Usage data
Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Cookies
We use first-party cookies for authentication and a minimal set of analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Service will not function.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide the Service: generate and store content, publish posts to connected platforms, and deliver scheduled output.
- To bill you: process subscription payments and send receipts.
- To support you: respond to questions, troubleshoot, and send service notifications.
- To improve the Service: aggregate, anonymized analytics on feature usage.
- To comply with the law: respond to lawful requests and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the content you create to train third-party AI models.
3. AI Processing
To generate copy and images, we send your prompts and brand briefs to AI providers (currently Google and OpenAI via the Lovable AI Gateway). These providers process your input under their own terms and do not retain it for model training when accessed through our gateway. We do not store your prompts beyond what is necessary to deliver and display the result to you.
4. Sharing
We share information only with:
- Sub-processors who run the Service (hosting, database, payments, email, AI inference).
- Platforms you choose to connect (e.g., Meta), strictly to publish the content you ask us to publish.
- Authorities, when required by law.
All sub-processors are bound by data-protection agreements.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records kept for 7 years).
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location (GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@freedom-factory.app. We respond within 30 days.
7. International Transfers
We are based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. under appropriate safeguards.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access control, and least-privilege service credentials. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the Service, contact us and we will delete the account.
10. Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated content at any time from Settings → Account. You may also request deletion by emailing support@freedom-factory.app with the subject "Delete my account." We confirm deletion within 30 days.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
